Above ground pool liners come in three diffent types.
Depending on the age and type of pool you will have one of the following types of liner in your above ground pool.
J-Bead liner: This liner hooks into a track reciever that hangs from the above ground pool wall and the bead of the liner actually looks like a J.
Overlap Liner: This liner does not use a track system to attach to the above ground pool. The liner itself hangs over the pool. Liners will come in 48" or 52" to match you pool wall height. The pools top rails have to be removed to change this type of liner, not like the J bead of the hung liner that can be installed with out any disassebly of the pools structure.
The Standard Bead: The standard bead or knowm as the "hung" liner is very similar to the J bead liner. This liner also uses a track system to attach to the above ground pool, but it just has a different shape bead at the top of the pool. This Liner can also be installed without disassebly of the pool which makes it a nice simple liner change. |
