There are two popular styles of pools, there is Gunite and Vinyl.
Gunite pools are elborate, they are permanent with concrete and plaster instead of a liner. A vinyl pool has reinforced walls and a vinyl liner.
A vinyl pool has reinforced walls, a liner, and can basically be any form you choose. If you are looking for price a vinyl pool is a little more expensive.
Aside from the way these pools look there are difference, the gunite pools you can have waterfalls, custom steps and beach entry. However,
A gunite pools floor is made up of either a pebble application or a plaster finish which is very hard on your feet. A vinyl pool has a liner which is easier on your feet.
Gunite vs. Vinyl , with a gunite pool you can have accessories such as a waterfall but with a vinyl pool you can have more freedom in choosing the form and it is easier on your feet. |
